Brooke Shields Sues Charlotte Tilbury with Lawsuit over “Brooke S” Eyebrow PencilBrooke Christa Shields, an American actress, and model, has filed a complaint against the beauty brand, Charlotte Tilbury, in California state court, stating the company’s “Brooke S” shade of “Brow Lift” eyebrow pencil is a clear-cut attempt by the brand to exploit her iconic eyebrows and, to make huge amounts of money.

Brooke’s bold eyebrows have been the trademark of her look and a target for endorsements and collaborations from the beginning of her career when Time magazine presented her as the 80s look in 1981. The actress has filed legal documents with the respect to the unauthorized use of her first name, and initial in connection with the eyebrow pencil, claiming that she never signed off on the use of her name and the product is creating an ambiguity in the minds of the customers who think that she’s the one endorsing it. Alex Weingarten of Venable LLP, Brooke’s attorney, stated that “This is an egregious violation of Brooke’s rights, which we will litigate vigorously to vindicate”.

The same applies for Beautylish, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, J.C. Penney, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora and Yoox Net-a-Porter who are also selling the same product and are thereby included in the list of defendants.

Shields is now suing for damages from Charlotte Tilbury and wants the beauty brand to take off the eyebrow pencil from the markets and stores. More Visit: http://kashishipr.com/
