The Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003 presents a legal basis for dealing with the mechanism of protection of the copyright in Sri Lanka.

• Universal Copyright Convention (Paris)
• Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights
